Amongst those聽witnesses presenting, Nick Mocan, M.Sc., P.Eng., Associate at Crozier and qualified expert in matters relating to water resources, floodplain聽and stormwater management聽as well as 聽municipal servicing, provided evidence which detailed a number of technical elements introduced into the site design to address floodproofing and stormwater management requirements.

After due consideration of all evidence, the OMB issued its Decision on January 24, 2017, authorizing the proposed variances proposed by the Kaneff team. This favourable OMB Decision paves the way for Kaneff to finalize details of the proposed development, aimed at securing Site Plan Approval in 2017.

The complete Decision delivered by M. Carter-Whitney and Order of the Board is available . OMB Case: PL151125,聽Kaneff Homes Compass Creek Inc. v. Mississauga (City).
